The authors intend this book for postgraduates, specialist trainees, interns, and practitioners involved in the care of patients with oral disease and oral disease as a manifestation of systems disease. |
Features
The book covers all aspects of oral disease and pathology from developmental anomalies to ulcerations, infections, and syndromes. In addition common oral problems such as caries, periodontal disease, and xerostomia are covered.
The photographs, histopathology slides, and radiographs are of high quality.
The self-assessment questions at the end of each chapter assist with retention of information, as do the tables with key features and management recommendations.
The chapter covering forensic dentistry seems to be somewhat out of place in a book of this type
|
Assessment
This is a good quality overview of oral medicine and pathology that is also a good reference.
