The text is organized based on anatomical regions—upper extremity, spine, and lower extremity, and follows a proximal to distal, cranial to caudal approach. Within each chapter is a brief review of relevant information pertinent to the diagnosis, followed by more detailed development of evaluation and treatment approaches. While complimentary, alternative, and medical or surgical interventions are considered, the emphasis of each chapter, and of the work as a whole, remains on conservative physical therapy intervention.
