      Description

The current volume contains chapters on selected topics, like cornea, glaucoma, cataract, and retina. Authors have described three innovative techniques to better visualize and support the graft. These include Endoilluminator-assisted PDEK, Air Pum-assisted PDEK, and Host Descemetic Scaffolding to support the graft.

It describes both invasive and noninvasive methods of assessment of the ocular blood flow as well as local and systemic factors which influence it. It also explains step-by-step surgical procedure of implantation of the implant and its complications.

The chapter on the role of spectral domain-optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in the evaluation of diabetic retinopathy highlights the importance of examination of vitreomacular interface and inner and outer layers of retina. In this volume, the readers can also drive benefit from interesting chapters on Necrotizing Retinopathies, Nyctalopia, Ocular Burns and Cerebral Angiography.

It is a great resource for postgraduate students, residents and general ophthalmologists.
