This book is a team work of highly experienced clinicians and academicians from across the country who are dedicated members of the officiating Committee of Medical Disorders in Pregnancy headed by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI). Medical disorders in pregnancy are the diseases which make the pregnancy high risk and are challenging to manage obstetricians and specialists. Many of these diseases may be pre-existing or may develop during pregnancy due to systemic changes associated with pregnancy.
