Textbook of Dental Materials has been inspired by teaching the subject of dental materials for almost two decades to a number of students. The basic aim is to introduce and simplify the complex subject of dental materials for young graduate students. It also aims to provide a comprehensive overview of each topic covering composition, classification, properties, manipulation, and uses. Important notes, reasoning questions and clinical considerations are provided in color-coded boxes for easy reference. Key terms are provided at the start of each chapter to introduce important terms in that chapter. Similarly, a summary is provided at the end of each chapter for quick revision in color-coded boxes.
