The phaco training program, which I started in 2002, is still going on at our institute. Since 2013, it got more structured and meticulous under the banner of Navneet Academy of Ophthalmology, Solapur, Maharashtra, India. Everyday analysis of the steps of phaco surgery with trainee doctors is the core of our training program. It gives new ideas related to the subject. I gathered all these views, ideas, and concepts related to phaco in the form of notes. The sharing of knowledge and discussions with national and international ophthalmologists and ophthalmic industry legends has helped me a lot to share new, more simplified concepts in this 2nd edition.
