The first edition was intended to serve as a teaching guide and ready reference for postgraduate students and practitioners of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology as well as for general pediatricians. In this second edition, we have added both depth and range of subjects, based on valuable feedback. As in the first edition, this edition also contains contributions from both Indian and internationally renowned pediatric gastroenterologists and hepatologists, who are stalwarts in their areas of expertise. This edition has 45 chapters (8 more chapters than the first edition).
