The 2nd Edition of Golden Notes in ENT, previously known as Exam Preparatory Manual for Undergraduates in ENT, has been thoroughly updated as per the revised CBME curriculum of NMC. The book presents theory and practical chapters in a competency-based question–answer format, supported by tables, flowcharts, and clinical photographs for easy recall. A novel feature is the addition of video links of important ENT procedures and audiology, enhancing visual understanding. The practical section includes sample long and short case presentations, history taking, examination methods, and frequently asked viva questions with clinical images. For the first time, chapters on instruments, radiology, audiometry, recent advances, operative specimens, OSCE, and mock papers have been included to equip students for modern assessment patterns.
