In this edition, the basic format and organization have not changed significantly, but there are numerous improvements in the narrative based on feedback. The ultimate goal of any anatomy textbook is to empower students to understand the basic concepts. To help this task, a number of flowcharts and tables have been added for a quick grasp of the topic without reading the text. Since more emphasis has been given to clinical-based text and questions, an effort is made to add more clinical anatomy boxes and clinical-based problems as well as clinical-based MCQs. this will enhance the students’ ability to correlate the anatomical text with its clinical application. Also, these inclusions will help them to solve MCQ based university competitive exams.
