The AICOG Obstetrics and Gynecology Update 2016 is divided into two sections: Obstetrics and Gynecology. 
Section 1: Obstetrics comprises 27 chapters, covering the management of most important recent topics of obstetrics such as recurrent pregnancy loss, conception, ectopic pregnancy, role of immunology in obstetric practice, TORCH tests, viral infection in pregnancy, management of thalassemia, and prevention and treatment of PIH. Section 2: Gynecology comprises 32 chapters covering a brief discussion on advances in gynecology such as adolescent gynecological problems, molecular genetics in gynecological cancer, third-party reproduction, pelvic inflammatory disease, recent advances in pelvic floor anatomy, and infertility. The text is written in simple language for an easy comprehension, and includes flow charts, tables, line diagrams and clinical photographs, which would be very useful for understanding the text
